Although I have what one would call a heavy load, 18 hours, my first few weeks of college have gone by smoothly. I've got French 201, English Comp. (duh, lol!), Algebra 101, Cross-cultural Understanding, Art 101, and World Civ. I'm assuming that the reason that most of my classes are ridiculously easy is because most of them are core classes.
My only class, so far, that is really challenging is French. This is mainly because I went from a highschool that teaches French in English to a college that teaches French in French. Also, I haven't taken French since 10th grade so, yea, it's been a while. Everyone assures me that it will all come back to me though. I sure hope so because we've already taken a test in there, and although I knew all of the required information for the test, I also needed to know simple vocabulary to finish up the sentences, which I did not in many of the questions. :(
My other classes are challenging in their own way is well. Unlike French, it is not the material and learning that challenges me though. The thing that challenges me most about my other classes is that the homework takes a lot of time. For example, English Comp. is not hard at all for me, but it's really hard to find the time to sit down and write those essays. It's especially hard when you factor in my procrastination.
Overall, my first few weeks of college at M.C. have been great! I look forward to this being a great year not only for me, but for everyone! I also hope I remember my French because if I don't, it wont be so great for me. Lol!

My classes are the same way. They're not exactly "hard" classes but they're very time consuming with all the homework and studying that comes along with them.
